1960’S BROWN VELVET AND VICTORIAN LACE DRESS
A beautifully constructed velvet dress from the late 1960s, this dress features billowing sleeves with seam detailing on the arms, right below the top of the shoulders. The focal point of this 1960's brown velvet dress is the intricate high collar, made from a Victorian lace which belonged to Miranda Quarry's grandmother, and around which the dress was custom made. It fastens up with a metal zip at the centre back, and a hook and eye closure at the nape of the neck. The cuffs are elasticated, with some slight wear to the elastic, due to its age. The dress is unlined and remains in excellent vintage condition, with some light damage to the lace.
All of our garments have been professionally cleaned. Vintage garments have been worn previously so expect some minor signs of wear. We do our best to inspect and describe any flaws on the garment.
